Big Announcements!
We've been working hard behind the scenes, and we're thrilled to finally share some exciting news with our spood community!
This spring, MxSpoodie will be introducing three new species to our breeding program:
1. Hyllus diardi (Heavy Jumper)
These gentle giants are one of the largest jumping spider species in the world! With their fuzzy appearance and calm demeanor, they're perfect for handlers who want a more substantial spider experience.
Heavy Jumpers can reach up to 25mm in body length - that's nearly an inch of pure cuteness!
2. Phidippus mystaceus (Apache Jumping Spider)
Native to the American Southwest, these stunning spiders feature beautiful orange and black coloring. Males have the most incredible fuzzy "mustaches" that give them their name.
3. Maratus personatus (Masked Peacock Spider)
From Australia, these tiny dancers are famous for their elaborate courtship displays. Males have vibrant patterns and perform complex dances to attract mates.
When Can You Adopt?
We expect our first clutches to be ready for adoption in late March 2026.
